Marketing Communications Executive

Scope:

This is a new role that has been introduced to develop, implement and support marketing communications campaigns for Eduserv’s services in HE/FE and the wider public sector.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Create communications campaigns to meet specific objectives
• Implement effective and efficient communications campaigns
• Write effective copy for print and online media
• Provide support as required to other areas of the communications team

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Writing copy for print and online media
• Defining marketing initiatives to meet specific objectives
• Implementing and managing marketing projects on time and to budget
• Proof reading marketing materials
• Updating website content
• Organising and attending Eduserv events
• Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives

• Excellent verbal communication and copy writing skills
• Ability to build effective internal working relationships
• Organisation and prioritisation of tasks
• Planning and project management of campaigns

• Team player and able to work on own initiative

• Positive “can do” outlook

This is an ideal position for someone that wants to build a career in b-2-b marketing.   

The job holder must have a good understanding of the fundamentals of marketing, they may be studying for CIM qualifications or may have already attained them.
